This new feature proposed by Facebook works on the same principle as the "Do not disturb" mode on Android and iOS smartphones. In other words, it allows you to plan time slots and days during which notifications from the application will not be notified to you by an alert. Obviously, if you go to the application on your own, you will be able to consult your notifications normally; these will not have disappeared. Also, Facebook will take the opportunity to remind you of the time remaining until the end of silent mode.
