This new feature offered by Facebook works on the same principle as “Do not disturb” mode on Android and iOS smartphones. In other words, it allows you to schedule time slots and days during which notifications from the application will not be notified to you by an alert. Obviously, if you go to the app by yourself, you will be able to view your notifications normally; these will not have disappeared. Also, Facebook will take the opportunity to remind you of the time remaining until the end of silent mode.
